I hope we have them for another 15years

Whether you are hunting for that elusive navigation mark at dawn or dodging the fishing buoys at dusk you need the best set of bins you can get! Tasco offshore range will certainly fit the bill. Produced by a specialist company for over 50years and even recomended by the US Coastguard they are the choice of many professinals in the yachting industry . Our 15year old Tasco "bins" have done many a mile with us and if they fell overboard we would not hesitate to buy another pair.

So what makes them so good? They are waterproof and salt proof and at just over a kilo in weight neither too heavy to hold or too
light to wobble. The armour rubber casing is comforting and easy to grip and the soft rubber eyeguards ensure you dont end up with two black eyes if the boat lurches!
7 x50 is the optimum magnification strength recommended at sea and in other outdoor enviroments as anything greater is affected by your breathing and heart beat. On the technical side the lense are FMC,fully multicoated optics which ensure maximum light transmission in bad conditions they also use BAK-4 prisms for bright clear resolution .
All in all they add up to great bins they come with a neck strap and a carrying case. The top of the range model the OS36 has an inbuilt illuminated compass and range finder and is priced around 250 pounds.Having lived and worked on boats for the last 30years we would definitely recommend them.
