Advantages: Great Easy Read

Disadvantages: None

Having not long read and thoroughly enjoyed Ozzy Osbournes autobiography when I saw Sharon Osbourne's autobiography in a local charity shop being sold for just a pound I couldn't resist but pick it up.

To be honest I was expecting it to cover a lot of the same ground as Ozzy's book and concentrate quite largely on her recovery from cancer. Although it does cover quite a bit of the same areas as Ozzy's book the stories are not the same and are written entirely in her own straight to the point yet quite funny point of view, making for a great take on her life.

Sharon Osbourne dosen't concentrate mainly on the bad in her life in this book either, she covers everything from growing up in the most unstable of environments, being chased by the taxman because of her dad, to being an X-factor judge, Ozzy's wife and also manager, and later on in the book her discovery of and recovery from cancer. In fact it is quite inspiring to read about the major highs and lows of her life and it is quite astounding that she has ended up where she has today.

This book is written as said in quite a frank and to the point manner with the feeling that nothing too much has been glossed over or missed out. In my opinoin this makes it such an interesting read with even the darkest moments of her life being injected with a bit of humour. The book is also good given the fact that it dosen't concentrate on any one part of her life for long but still manages to tell a good story and set the scene of what was going on at the time. This kept it interesting for me whilst keeping it a light read especially as most of it is written in a conversational tone making it a very easy yet involving read.

Overall I would reccommend this book if you have even the slightest interest in the Osbournes as a family or just Sharon. Even those who do not like the Osbournes or haven't really paid them much attention would find this a great read with great insight into an extraordinary womens life. If you see this book I would suggest picking it up as I doubt it will dissapoint many people, its a great tribute to herself whilst not blowing her own trumpet, just telling how her life has been in probably one of the most honest, straight to the point, captivating autobiographies I have read.

Summary: Great Book, Telling The Story Of An Incredible Women.
