This is a review of the 2008 book 'Maps of my life' by Guy Browning. This is an author my husband rates so I bought the book as a present for him. He enjoyed it so much that he insisted I read it too and I'm glad I did! Maps of my life is not thankfully a book all about maps, although Browning does relate a lot of his life via maps and the chapters are all about places he has been. There is a definite love of ordnance survey maps there and due to his upbringing Guy is quite geologically and geographically informed.
