Advantages: smells nice!

Disadvantages: Very expensive, not moisturising enough

I tried Biotherm products for the first time when they were on a 3 for 2 in Boots, they are quite expensive and so at least this way you get them a little bit cheaper. They very often are on 3 for 2 in Boots I find, and so I always wait to replace products or to try new products then. I have also occasionally bought Biotherm products duty free, again to save some money.

This is really really expensive for a body lotion, but I figured that I'd had so many other really good quality biotherm products that I'd give this a go, and it is a large bottle at 400ml. It is an 'intensive anti-drying body milk', and this is what I was after for the harsh winter months, I have really really dry skin, even more so in the winter and I figured that if this worked then it would be worth the money.

However this didn't really work for me, not for the price anyway!
First the positives; this has a lovely pleasant but not overpowering scent of apricots which does linger on your skin for quite some time, it is easy to rub into your skin, it disapears and it is quickly absorbed into you skin, and it doesn't leave any greasy after feel or sticky residue behind, the pump action bottle is easy and convenient to use.
Now unfortunately for the negatives: it didn't feel rich enough or moisturising enough my skin still felt slightly dry and taut after using this, this didn't change after using the body lotion for a few weeks either, I found that I had to religiously use it both morning and night otherwise my dry skin came back with a vengeance if I missed an application, I had to use a quite a lot of this much more than other body lotions, therefore it isn't going to last very long at all, my skin didn't feel smooth or soft enough after using this, I was actually really dissapointed with it - especially as it was so expensive.

Overall I was not impressed with this for the money, had it been a cheap and cheerfull body lotion fair enough, but it wasn't. I expected a lot more from this. I certainly won't be buying it again.

Summary: Very expensive and not moisturising enough
