Tesco Value HB06 Handblender: ... bought my Tesco value handblender around a year ago for £4.99 and it has now dropped in price to £3.89, it is available in some Tesco stores or can be ordered from the Tesco direct catalogue. The blender is very basic, but you can t really expect anything else for such a small price. It consists of two parts, the main body which has two rubber switches for fast and slow speeds and the part with the blades which i...

i_am_joy Tesco Value HB06 Handblender
... first time I looked after my baby grandaughter I was a little stuck for preparing her a meal as I do not like giving her the jars my daughter (her mom) sent over. I have a wonderful food processor but it unfortunately would not blend the small amounts I needed so I ended up having to make a whole load of baby food which eventually got wasted. When I saw that Tesco sell a Handblender as part of their Value range and that it would only cost £3.79 I decided to buy one to try it and if it was no good then I have not wasted a lot of money. I think it absolutely worth the money though and I would probably have paid a little more. The only thing the blender is not suitable...

SusanLesley Kenwood BL440
... I decided it was time to replace my blender. The old one was looking pretty sad with a cracked jug and I figured it was only a matter of time before there was a messy accident! As it happened it was the new one that gave me this experience, but more about that later! I do enjoy my smoothies so the blender stands permanently on the kitchen work surface and gets used on a regular basis, so it isn t one of those gadgets that get relegated to the back of the cupboard! We had still got some Debenhams vouchers left from a wedding present received three years ago (we don t shop at Debenhams very often!) so we took a look there and found a Kenwood BL440 which was a ble...

Nar2 Cookworks Smoothie Maker
... days it seems that everyone who is into the latest fad has already fallen for the joys of a Kenwood Smoothie maker. Am I the last candidate to the party? I haven t bought one because I own a number of Kenwood food prep machines (mixer, blender, food processor) and all of them have the loudest motors. My heart was initially set on a glass blender (to combat noise as well as something which lasts and can take the rigours of blitzing anything) I was disappointed to find that Argos no longer sold the model concerned and that my best bet was to find the cheapest blender on sale. This meant concerning the cheapest of names and for Argos this means, for the sale of their...
