Breville VHB020:
... anyone looking for a housewarming gift Breville have come to your rescue. They have recently started to do a range of gift packs, each focussed around one of their small kitchen gadgets, like an electric whisk or a blender. I recently found myself in possession of the blender pack. This giftset comes with two solid soup bowls, a ladle, a book of recipes and a blender. The bowls are a lovely deep cherry red and ... Breville VBL011 ... use this for everything! It s so handy and easy to use. It can be used to makes soups, protein shakes, smoothies, milkshakes, or as a juicer; it s really versatile. It s part of the Anthony Worral Thompson range but don t let that put you off! The silver finish is really stylish and the pulse buttons have 2 speed settings which are user friendly. The noise it emits is fairly quiet for a blender - I don t like ones that you can hear 2 rooms away! It s a decent size - you can fit 1 and a half litres in it - and it s simple to take apart and clean. The blades are stainless steel. The jug is hard plastic so you can put it in the dishwasher no problem. Finally, it has a gre... Read the full review: Functional, handy and stylish by orchidsbloom |

Breville VHB014 ... enjoy making my own soup, but prefer them to be smooth rather than have lumps in, so when I saw this blender on offer in Tesco for £24.99 it seemed like an ideal purchase - especially as it came with accessories such as a balloon whisk and a mini processor. The blender comes with 2 speed settings but I ve found the first to be more than powerful enough when blending soups. The mini food processor is more than sufficient for chopping veg finely, but it does need to be chopped roughly first into chunks to make sure it all gets chopped. The weakest part is the balloon whisk, it doesn t seem to do the job all that well but I was bought a hand mixer not long after so I ... Read the full review: Smooth Operator by x-cupcake-x |

Breville VHB012 ... already own a blender, but I ve been wanting a hand held blender for a while. However I specifically wanted something with a chopper attachment as well. I love cooking but one of the things I dislike is chopping numerous different ingredients. I never really felt I could justify buying an expensive gadget just to save some fiddly chopping though. However, this was on offer at Currys at Christmas, and together with a gift voucher it cost me next to nothing, so I thought I might as well have it! As shown in the illustration, it comes with the hand held motor unit, a blending shaft, a chopping bowl with chopping blade and lid, a whisk, and a measuring beaker. The mo...
