Breville VBL011: ... use this for everything! It s so handy and easy to use. It can be used to makes soups, protein shakes, smoothies, milkshakes, or as a juicer; it s really versatile. 	Breville VHB014 ... enjoy making my own soup, but prefer them to be smooth rather than have lumps in, so when I saw this blender on offer in Tesco for £24.99 it seemed like an ideal purchase - especially as it came with accessories such as a balloon whisk and a mini processor. The blender comes with 2 speed settings but I ve found the first to be more than powerful enough when blending soups. The mini food processor is more than sufficient for chopping veg finely, but it does need to be chopped roughly first into chunks to make sure it all gets chopped. 	Breville VHB012 ... already own a blender, but I ve been wanting a hand held blender for a while. However I specifically wanted something with a chopper attachment as well. I love cooking but one of the things I dislike is chopping numerous different ingredients. I never really felt I could justify buying an expensive gadget just to save some fiddly chopping though. However, this was on offer at Currys at Christmas, and together with a gift voucher it cost me next to nothing, so I thought I might as well have it! 	Breville HB4 ... I bought this I loved it - it s so easy to use for so many things: making soups, milkshakes, chopping nuts, whisking. I even use the food processor part to shred duck in for crispy duck pancakes. I didn t even use all the attachments, but it did everything I needed, and did it quickly. With a variety of speeds and a boost button for tougher jobs, it did the business, whilst looking the business, and it was easy to clean. The rubberised grip are makes it comfortable to hold and it s weighty enough to feel sturdy but not too heavy that it makes your arm ache.
