The Jamie Oliver BL523D34 Blender does what its supposed to do.Its my first blender and have had no problems with it. I like making smoothies with crushed ice Really Nice. The Blender is easy to clean which is great for me. the blender has a powerful 500w motor with 2 speeds. I recommend buying this if your a first time buyer you cant go wrong.

i decided to treat myself to this blender as it was in the sale for £50 last year in currys. my first impressions of this product were well branded, with jamie oliver covering the whole of the box using the blender in the photo. it was very well damaged so i was confident it wouldnt have been damaged during travel at any time, it was packed will with polystyrene and covered with a plastic bag to keep it from getting dirty or ducty. the blender itself is very solid and quite on the heavy side but this does not really matter as you would not be carrying it around all the time, being heavy is also a bonus as this makes it very stable when blending as it stands firm. the ...  Read the complete review

I had been thinking about getting a blender for some time. I have a food processor and whilst I love it, it is quite bulky and even though I have an attachment that would probably do some of the things a blender would do, I still felt I wanted the blender. I follow the Slimming world diet plan and a big thing on the diet is homemade soups and without the blender it is fair to say that my soups have been really chunky!
