Advantages: A good value blender that is really reliable.

Disadvantages: Need to be careful to wash the parts carefully after use.

I have had this model of the Kenwood BL300 series blender for some years now - probably about seven years. It is a slightly different design to the one in the picture, as it is older. Mine is in black and silver. It has always worked really well, with no problems. I mainly use it for making fruit smoothies, but it is also very useful for blending homemade soups,fruit purees and milkshakes.
The blender does not take up a lot of space on the worktop when not in use, and does not have many parts to wash. I have found, though, that you need to be careful when washing the jug, as small particles of food, such as milk and yogurt, can get stuck at the bottom, between the base and the jug, thus leaving an odour. When washed thoroughly, it has been fine.
I have had the blender for quite a few years and it has had a lot of use, so I am very pleased with it, as it has been very reliable and hasn't broken down.

Summary: Very good value for money and really reliable.
