I love cooking and I'm a bit of a sucker for my handy kitchen appliances so when shopping in fenwicks one day after my old blender had packed up and had to go in the bin, I spotted this Kenwood kMix at £100 it was quite expensive but I loved the 50s styling and bought it in cream.
I have to say it was well worth the money, I have made all sorts with it from milkshakes to pasta sauces, I've even lent to my brother. The blender is easy to use and doesn't take up much room in the kitchen and it looks fab in cream and makes my kitchen quite traditional with a hint of 50s. There is a dial in the middle that you can change to correspond with what your making and two buttons on the bottom for pulse and mix. The lid fits on tightly so it cannot fly off, it is also quite spacious and surprisingly can fit quite a lot in the jug which does detach from the bottom so it can easily be poured. The downside is it is very heavy to lift as the jug is made from thick glass I normally have to use 2 hands and it can be quite tricky to clean even if it does come apart it's still very difficult to get between the blades carefully, having said that though it is a wonderful piece of equipment that I hope is going to last me years.
The Final Word~~~~~
Although quite expensive it is worth the money as it blends finely and never leaves lumps like other blenders do, just be careful when cleaning
