The few months before Christmas are always a nightmare with advertisements on the television for gift ideas. Last year was a bit different though. I saw an advertisement not once, but about twenty times for the new Kenwood Smoothie maker. At Christmas I like to buy my son and his partner a joint present as well as something personal. I have a son who adores fruit and smoothies. I had used my food processor in the past to make smoothies but when I saw a Kenwood New York Smoothie maker on sale in Comet for £15 because the box was damaged I decided to treat myself. I have always been a big fan of Kenwood, being the pround owner of two Kenwood Chef's in my lifetime so had no qualms in purchasing another of their products. To sum up the case of the prosecution :- 1.The machine being used in a downstairs kitchen can wake people up whilst sleeping in the upstairs area of a semi-detached house, (this might be classed as something in its defence!)
