Great if you don't mind the noise (Kenwood New York Smoothie Maker)

I have had this smoothie maker for 2 weeks and have used it almost every day since. I only make smoothies for myself so just put enough ingredients to make two smoothies one for breakfast and I put one in an airtight beaker for lunch, still tastes great!

No problems with the cleaning, I don't understand the problems people are having with this, the base comes off easily enough so you can get to all the working parts. I haven't dismantled the tap yet as it shows you in the book but this only needs to be done occassionaly.

Now for the negative. The noise!! This is a really noisy machine, I get complaints from the rest of the family every time I use it. I think in fact Kenwood have discontinued it now and I have written to them to complain about the noise level.

However this is a cheap machine.

Summary: Wouldn't recommend this machine purely for the noise level
