We bought this with our wedding vouchers as we wanted a sturdy blender, capable of producing smoothies and baby food! It didnt disappoint as its very hard wearing and has the added bonus of looking great in a retro chic kind of way. Available in a variety of colours, we were torn between red and cream, but eventually went for the latter. The glass jug is thick and strong but it is also heavy and can be difficult to hold when full. Its blades are very strong and it has no problem whizzing through frozen ice which has been the end of some other blenders ive owned in the past. We got our KitchenAid blender as a wedding gift last year. It looks great and is really good quality. My favourite part (apart from the cool retro style) is the thick quality glass jug. Its easy to keep clean as you can undo the bottom and get in to clean the blades, but you can't actually take the whole thing apart which is slightly annoying. Its better than the cheap blenders i've had before though that your couldn't take apart even a little bit. The problem i would say is that in recent months the conection between the jug and the base has become a little loose which is making it alot noisier than it used to be.
