Listing what this kitchen gadget CAN do would take forever. Listing what it can NOT do when it comes to kitchen tasks wouldn't take much time at all.
It's a small, compact machine that looks (as it name suggests) like a bullet. It comprises of a strong motorised base with different blades and a clear see through section. There are also cups supplied with this unit and the cleaver thing is the cups are where you place the food or drink that you want the bullet to work on. They then turn into perfect drinking cups and are colour coded so you know exactly which cup is yours. Once you pop in the cross blade then pop in your food. Lets say I was to use some red peppers, onion and herbs you then just attach it to the base and to make the bullet work you simply press down on the top of the cup. The bullet is powerful and will crush ice without any strain. So for vegetables like this I just pulse the bullet. To do this I just push and let go, push and let go. This on, off way will result in a chunky chop. Keep your finger on the top of the bullet and it will pulverise the contents in no time at all. There Is only one speed setting but this doesn't matter because you decide how long you leave it running for. I love how this machine really puts me in control. There is no situation where I would be panicking to find the button to stop it. All I have to do is lift my hand and it stops straight away. If I want to whip cream which lots of kitchen appliances can do, I sometimes use the magic bullet. For this task I need to use the flat blade, this is super simple to install and as you would expect this comes with a detailed user manual.
The cups / party mugs also come with lids and if you have made some soup but want to keep it for later just screw on the lid and pop it in the fridge or freezer. Then for the best part... They can go straight from the refrigerator or freezer right to the microwave and then to the dishwasher. This is so handy, this means I can prepare, store, cook and consume and clean my food all using the one container. This really cuts down on the washing up which is always a bonus. There is also a lid included with this that screws on to the cups like the others but this one is different in that in had lots of holes in the lid. This one is great if you want to great some cheese in the bulled and then use the mug and lid as a cheese dispenser on the table. It's great if I have made some pasta and some pasta sauce in the bullet to then be able to shake my freshly grated cheese over my dish.
I like to use the one litre blending jug when making sauces for the whole family this is a much larger jug like attachment that I use just like the cups and it attaches in the same way.
There is also a fantastic juicer attachment that is used with the jug that turns the bullet into a juicer. This works well but I find using my own juicer to be better as I can produce an endless stream of juice from it. This can grind fresh coffee too which is great if you have a coffee machine that doesn't do that for you. I make lovely alcoholic slushies
using the bullet and they are great for party's. You can make milkshakes, sauces, dips, fresh juice, Whipped cream, chocolate moose, and if you use your imagination it literally endless. This is a great machine, I can't say I use it every day or even every week, but it does get used by at least once a day by someone in my family and I use it a few times a month so it has definitely found a place in our kitchen.
Summary: A fantastic kitchen gadget
