      oster, the best.

My parents have had their classic 3 speed Oster blender for, literally, since they got married more than 30 years ago. Which means in my family and especially with me, a blender is always crucial to make juices, smoothies and iced cocktails. That is why I decided to buy this 12 speed which is actually bigger than the one we had and also because it has the pulse feature which is my favourite when you want to slightly mix something. It's not too loud but obviously all blenders shouldn't really be used at night when people are trying to sleep! It has a nice sleek and modern design and mine is white. I bought it for about £40 online so it is really cheap compared to other oster's.

This blender features a thick, resistant glass jar with a capacity of 40 ounces making it easy to make a smoothie at once for the whole family. The 12 speed characteristic was a bit overwhelming at the beginning, especially because I was used to just working with 3, which I thought was enough for what I wanted to do. Yet, today I would not know what to do without a 12 speed one, as you can use it gradually controlling the foam it produces in the things you are blending. It can be infuriating when you are blending a smoothie or milkshake, look forward to it to be refreshing and then end up drinking a glass of foam.

The product quality has too been a really good aspect which makes me continue loving Oster, especially for its durability. I would absolutely recommend this model to any one with the same blending requirements.

      Cheap and works well

We buy one of these every year from the US when we go on holiday, we always go on fly drives to the US, and so have room in the car to carry it with us.
It does actually seem fairly sturdy as it travels around for a while, in and out of hotels all the time, we've even occasionally dropped them, and they still work!
They are really reasonably priced and so we use it most days for the month or so, and then leave it in the last hotel room for someone else to take advantage of.
I must admit that we only ever use this for fruit smoothies, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, and crushing ice, but it works brilliantly for all of these. Also I must point out that the longest we have used one for is 3 months of use, but we have never had any problems whatsoever with any of the ones we have bought, and that is a fair few.
It is really quiet and it blends really well, crushed ice and smoothies are actually as good as my expensive Kitchen Aid blender at home. You can't ask for more than that especially as it is so cheap.
I think that for the price point this is absolutely brilliant.
