I've been using the Philips HR1355 for a few weeks as a replacement for my old handheld blender. It retails at around £37 and does exactly what it promises. Specs - The HR1355 runs on around 220V and has a max power of 300W making it a very powerful blender and allowing it to blitz even the toughest ingredients to my knowledge. The cord length is a generous 1.3m which allows you to move the blender around freely when needed. Especially useful due to the fact the blender is a hefty 38.5X7X7cm and so requires quite a lot of space to handle.
