... unworthy products. I am simply trying to state how brilliant this appliance is. Nice and simple plug and blend and only takes a matter of seconds before you achieve the desired result. A nice simple matte black as well and can contain a large amount of product. Compared to other blenders I have used this fits perfectly in terms of aesthetics and ease of use. I would like to hope you believe these words to support your future blending requirements. I give it a whole hearted 8 out of 10....more

Its not the prettiest of looking machines and is quite expensive I think for a blender. I would prob go for a more expensive option next time but I can't complain as it did the ...  Read the complete review

I wanted a good blender for making smoothies but as with everything nowadays there were so many styles and brands to choose from. Also, the reviews I looked at seemed to differ widely for every model available, and several people would give a model 5 stars while several others would give the same model only 1 star and cite various problems with it. After a lot of tiresome research, I chose the Philips HR2160/50 blender based on my own faith in the Philips brand, as I have had various Philips products in the past that have proved to be of good quality and durability, and also the fact that this blender has 600 Watt power as there does seem to be general consensus online ..  Read the complete review
