      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A well designed hand blender with plenty of power and able to blend almost anything!

I've been using this hand blender for quite a while and it's been very handy. It's so much easier to use than pouring everything you want to blend into a blender and then having to clean it.

The blender is really powerful - 650W. I've used it on things that are quite hard and the motor seems to be holding up fine. There are different settings so you can have it as fast or slow as you want, and it doesn't vibrate in your hand like some hand blenders do. I've also found that it's lighter than other hand blenders which can be really heavy. It's well designed and feels good in your hand.

It's really easy to wash. You just stick the shaft and blade in the dishwasher, or wash it by hand. The shaft comes off easily when you press a button to remove it. I don't use the mixing cup much but it seems ok. It's only a bit of plastic though.

The main thing I use the blender for is soup. I just whizz it around in the saucepan. There's so much less cleaning up than a traditional blender.

Mine came with a little Marco Pierre White Recipe leaflet, which has a couple of nice recipes in it and useful instructions on what you can use the hand blender for.

I haven't had any problems with it though it does get very warm when it's been on for a bit. I think this would happen with any hand blender though. I've also read some reviews that said it exploded, but I haven't experienced that so hopefully they were just one offs.
