Film only review: The basic premise of this movie is that a sarcastic, misanthropic dentist living in the city who through the course of events in the film, develops an ability which is not very suitable for him, puts him into dialogue with a lot a "people." This situation is not becoming to his nature but leads him to challenge certain aspects of his life and of course there is a romantic side plot which takes over the central spine of the plot. Love him or hate him, Ricky Gervais has become incredibly popular in The States over the last few years, and his first feature-length Hollywood leading role came in the form of the David Koepp directed 'Ghost Town'.
