      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Great martial arts comedy

The film is set in Shanghai 1940's and takes kung fu to a hole new level, slap stick on an oriental level, it is rated a 15 but this is just because of the violence there is no nudity or bad language Ive watched this around 20 times and still keeps me laughing all the way through.
The story line is that gangs control the hole city with the poorest parts being the only place were they dont bother, this all changes when two nobodys pretend to be members of the notorious axe gang bringing a lot of trouble for the small community, luckily there are more than plenty of kung fu experts to defend them, a tale of good conquering evil.
The martial arts start like most film of this genre then quickly get more over the top, this continues through the whole film until the fighting moves amazingly crazy, the fighting scenes are heavily developed with CGI for great effect, the choreographer is brilliant.
Blue-ray extras, behing the scenes this is an extra 45 minutes which was good to watch, deleted scenes a few scenes that are funny but not made the film some of which just didnt fit the story very well.
Outtakes and Bloopers, Interview with Stephen Chow the director and star of the film.
The Blue-ray quality is great bringing out every small detail that might be over looked in the standard format, also enhances the sound quality.
The main actors were really superb great comic timing as well as timing fighting moves, this can also be said for the actors with the smaller parts.
