Parker Trivial Pursuit War of the Wedges ... our house we love playing board games, even when its just my wife and I around - and for my Trivial Pursuit has always been my favorite despite its length. I do seem to get some strange kick out of taxing my brain and answering questions. I saw this version recently in out local B&M for only £7 and thought it looked like something worth picking up to add to our game collection, and i wasnt dissapointed. All this game comes with is a dvd and 2 remotes (shaped like the infamous wedge or cheese) - but these 3 items are all you need for a short but fun interlude in a nights TV watching. Orchard Shopping List ... is a fantastic game and a year after buying it for my daughter, she still loves it. The game can be played with 2 to 4 players and is aimed at those who are 3 years and older. The game consists of 4 shopping trolleys, 4 shopping lists and a number small sqaure cards, each one showing a item from the shopping lits. Each players selects a shopping trolley and a shopping list. Then the fun begins. You place all the cards showing the items in the supermarket face down and then, in turn, each player turns over a card and if the picture matches one of the items on their shopping list they place it in their shopping trolley. Hasbro Crocodile Dentist ... Dentist is a game made by MB games and it retails at around £10 from Amazon.co.uk. I bought this game for my son at a car boot sale for 50p when he started to show an interest in turn taking games. When you open the box you see a large green crocodile head made from plastic. The mouth opens and closes, and inside the mouth are teeth. The aim of the game is to take it in turns pressing down the teeth until you find the tooth which makes the mouth snap closed. That person loses the game. To start the game again you simply open the mouth and away you go. The game is for between 2 and 4 players, and for children aged 4 and up.
