sacwhh22 Parker Trivial Pursuit War of the Wedges: ... our house we love playing board games, even when its just my wife and I around - and for my Trivial Pursuit has always been my favorite despite its length. I do seem to get some strange kick out of taxing my brain and answering questions. I saw this version recently in out local B&M for only £7 and thought it looked like something worth picking up to add to our game collection, and i wasnt dissapointed. All ...

BumpyBump Super Boggle
... Boggle really is SUPER. It s a new and improved version of the original Boggle and in this version you can choose to have either a 4x4 grid (the original style) or a 5x5 grid. The 5x5 is more difficult because the minimum word size you are allowed is 4-letters. But the rules for the 4x4 are the same as in the original game and a 3-letter word is perfectly acceptable. This Super version also has lights in its base and it flashes slowly throughout the game, speeds up a bit when the time is running out, and goes completely mad when your three minutes is up. This is a much better system than the old egg-timer because you don t have to keep your eye on it all the time wh...

BumpyBump Parker Trivial Pursuit Master Game Genus Edition
... game of general knowledge, I play Trivial Pursuit at least once a month. This version was released in 1981, I think, and it s fair to say that the questions, as a result, can sometimes be very out-of-date. The game can be played with any number of players (minimum of two) which you can split into a maximum of six teams. The idea of the game is to win all six "cheeses" (or "slices of cake"!) for your counter by answering questions on a variety of topics, and then getting your counter into the centre of the board to correctly answer one final question in order to win the game. This game is great for killing an hour or two during a slow evening or wee...

keeperofthematri Parker Trivial Pursuit 1980s
... in the 1980s when Trivial Pursuit was growing in popularity my godmother used to work in a shop which sold games. From time to time parents would come into the shop and purchase the Genus edition of Trivial Pursuit for little Johnny or little Jenny who was aged around 10. My godmother and her colleagues would cast a dubious look at the said parents and inform them that the questions in the game might be a little difficult for the darling child. The majority of the parents would respond with "But little Johnny / Jenny s so clever for their age. His / her general knowledge is really good." On a number of occasions these parents returned to the shop and asked ...
