Paul Lamond Games Thomas & Friends Windy Day Rescue Game ... Windy Day Rescue Game is a lovely little game for pre-schoolers. The aim of the game is to go around the track collecting items that have blown around during a storm. There are 4 characters to choose from. You roll a coloured dice and move along the board to the next space of that colour, collecting any items that are on the space. There is the Fat Controller who takes back items, and the signalman who either lets you carry on or miss a turn. The game is aimed at children who are 3 plus, but I would say any older than five and they are too old to get much enjoyment out of it. The RRP is pretty cheap at £4.99, and Amazon have it even cheaper at £3.17. It was only £2.50 to us when Amazon had a big toy sale on not long ago. It s suitable for two to four players, and is aimed at ages three and up. I would say that three and four year olds ar e the real target audience for this game. Any younger and they can t understand how to take turns, any older and they re going to find this a bit boring and simple. In the box, there s a hard board that you can open out the same way you would do a Monopoly or Scrabble board. On the board there are lots of bright... The aim of the game is to be the team who correctly identify the most famous people from clues and descriptions given by the members of their team, within the time limit, for a set number of rounds.
