Advantages: Easy to start.

I love board games that are fun to play for all the family, and easy to get into, where you dont get bogged down with all the instructions, so that you can start playing stressfree. Articulate is just that, do not let the name scare you off as I promise you do not have to be articulate to play it!

Articulate actually has a very simple format. There is a board whereby you start at one end and to win have to cross the finsih line at the other end. It is a very simple concept. There are certain squares which you land one which mean extra things, like, all teams have a guess at this one, or move back or forward but they are all self explanatory so no confusion there.

You play in teams and a minimum of two per team, so to be precise you have to have a minimum of four people, two teams, two players on each. With games like this I find that the more the merrier often applies.

Each team has a counter and spins the dial in the middle to start. There are four different colour coded spaces and depending on which one you land on decides which catagory card you pick up. For example place, you land on the place square and pick up the card. Only yourself from the team reads it and then you have to act it out to your other team member to guess.

This game is great fun and it is the sort of thing anyone can join in, but the only downside is that soemtimes the card can have things on that you have not heard off, but you just have to adapt the game accordingly. Great fun for all ages and occassions!

Summary: Great fun game easy to play, most cards suit all ages.
