Advantages: Fun game, makes you laugh

Disadvantages: Can cause petty family arguments, need quite a few people to play

My constant way of describing Articulate! to people is "It's like pictionary but with talking".
Allow me to clarify a little - You are arrange into teams (with at least 2 or 3 people in each team), one person picks a card, the timer is started, and they ten have to describe the word that is on the card. For example, the word is "cat", the person describing it is obviously not allowed to say "its a cat" but can instead say things like "small furry animal, likes fish and milk, pointed ears etc". However, the words are never as easy as "cat", they are always somewhat more interesting.
Another point of this game, is that if you want to win, you should try to split up people who know each other very well into different groups, otherwise they will definately beat you. The best example of this I have ever known was a husband and wife team.

The exact wording went like this: "ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner ner!" "william tell overture!!" "yes!"

Your team recieves points for every one you get right until the timer runs out, and you then move around the board until someone reaches the end.
A very fun game to play with anyone, but especially around Christmas time, the board game season in our house.

Summary: Well worth a play
