Advantages: Can help kids learn how to obtain information and elimination.

Disadvantages: Fiddly to set up but only needs doing once.

My son got this game for his birthday last year. I had never seen them before so thought it was a lovely gift for him especially as he was into Ben 10 at the time. They are still available in places like Argos Toys R us and amazon at around £12-£15.00.

If you've ever played the MB game of Guess who then this is pretty much the same but based on the childrens TV program Ben 10. Ben 10 is a 10 year old boy with special powers to turn into an alien and fight the bad aliens and monsters.

When you first open this game up you will have to set it up, you have to separate all the cards from the main card and slot into each white base of game board which has 24 lift up flaps. This bases are light and not very hard wearing. I found these quite fiddly to do and when I'd done one board I had to help my son finish his board as he too found it tricky to do, but on the plus side once this bit is done it doesn't need to be repeated, that is unless you have a smaller child that manages to take them out again (he loves his sister truly). Once this part is set up you have a further 24 cards which all have a picture and name of a particular person or alien on them. Each of the 2 players picks a card which they keep hidden from the other player and it slots into the front of the board facing you so the opponent can't see it.
Next you take it in turns trying to guess which card the other player has by asking questions like is yours human? Is yours alien? Does yours have red eyes etc. When you are eliminating the ones it cant be then you place the flaps down on the board and eventually you will be able to start guessing which card your opponent has.

I found this harder to play then the original Guess who game as I don't know too much about all the characters of the program where as my son does and asks questions like does your one have fire in him etc and I haven't a clue lol. Each game lasts approx 5 minutes.

If you are still after some last minute Christmas presents and have a Ben10 fan then I would recommend this especially if they have another fan to play along with them.

Summary: Easy game to play and doesnt take long to play.
