A good game played by everyone, including the pre-school kiddies, An absolutely classic game to be honest. You know the rules, we have all played this game, so why are you reading this review I ask? However, the real question is, Why am I writing it? The answer is here:-. Firstly the fact that this game was easy, so easy in fact, that you didn't really need instructions, you could get people who have never seen a board game before, to play around and suss it out. ***Background*** Chad Valley have been designing different toys since 1860 and you can still find a good range at Woolworths today. Everything from soft toys to games are included in the range and this is one of the games that my daughter decided to buy her 5 year old brother for Christmas this year. Snakes and Ladders can be dated back to India in the 16th Century and then it became popular in the Victorian era in the UK. There have been many different versions of the game throughout the years and I used to love playing it when I was small as the concept is easy for a pre-schooler to understand.
