Chess and Backgammon

Chess is a masterpiece of a game with absolutely unlimited possibilities. You can only play a game of cluedo so many times (even though it is quite fun) but chess unleashes and strenghtens your mind and your talent for thought, predictability and foresight. You can never ever be good enough at chess because I can guarantee you that you can be beaten. Maybe not by some grandmaster whose moves are always so unpredictable and clever that they are stupidly obvious but some 12 year old kid whose innocence makes him dangerous. I have written this opinion in the hope that the occasional chess player will read this and take on board at least some of the ideas I suggest. If you do, your learning curve will be steep and ultimately, you will enjoy the game even more than now. Who am I to make such a bold statement? Well my credentials are as follows.
