Advantages: Doesn't drag on. Fun for all ages.

This game is a true family classic. It can be played with family, friends...whoever! Just get a group of people together...who are...slightly bored and dig out your Cluedo board!

The game is all about solving a murder that has happened in a make-belief mansion. At the start of the game three cards - stating a person a place and a weapon are picked at random and put into a cardboard sleeve so that none of the players can see. The rest of the cards are then distributed amongst players. Then each player takes it in turns asking other players if they have certain cards...and once they have this information they can cross names off of their own sheet.

The aim of the game is to correctly guess the three cards that were put inside the sleeve at the beginning of the game.

This murder mystery game is a great all round fun family game.

I received the game as a Christmas present (many) years ago...and it is one of the few I regularly play (along with good old UNO). The game doesn't drag on for too long unlike Monopoly and doesn't require in-depth knowledge like some of the new trivia games.

So if you're looking for a good game to play at a family gathering or even for Christmas day...Cluedo is defiantly worth a go.

If you we're considering buying this game for children then child's versions are readily available that might make the "murder" aspect a little less dominant!

This is a game that I have long adored and I can see children and adults alike enjoying the game.

The game can be purchased online for £10-£15 or even cheaper if bought second hand (but watch out for missing cards/parts). In high street stores like Debenhams and Harpers Bazaar the game can be purchased for around the same price...so I can't see much difference in buying it from shop and being 100% certain no parts are missing!

Overall Cluedo is a great family game that I would recommend to all ages. Defiantly one worth buying!
