Cluedo is a board game made by Parker Brothers and Hasbro.

This game lets you play through a murder mystery with 3-6 players, the more the better as it becomes a lot more challenging to figure out whodunnit!

In the game there are cards representing the characters, the weapons and the rooms in the mansion. One of each of these cards are placed in the envelope which becomes the murderer who you need to figure out.
You move around the board and enter the different rooms of the mansion, once you enter a room you may make a suggestion, and every other player must show you if they have any of the cards you suggested allowing you to eliminate those weapons from the hunt for the murderer.

It doesn't matter if you are wrong, you have a card so you can check off the rooms and locations that you have and you know and the game is won when you have eliminated all the possible weapons and rooms and characters and therefore know the identity of the murderer. Once you think you know you can say and check the envelope to see if you were right, if you are mistaken however you should keep quiet and bow out of the game allowing the other players to continue the hunt for the killer, though you may be tempted to give it away!

The game is really fun to play and exciting to figure out the mystery, it can be really tense when you know another player is close to getting it and you make an educated guess and win! Those moments are the most satisfying in the game but it can easily go the other way.

It is a great game to play when you are together with your family and friends and provides hours of exciting mysterious fun. You can pick up the board game for around £15, it also comes in different versions such as Junior Cluedo, Harry Potter Cluedo and so on.

Summary: An excellent board game.
