Advantages: None spring to mind

Disadvantages: Its dull

This has to be one of least favourite board games. I was forced to play this many times as a youngster and just don't understand the appeal of it.

In the game there has been a murder in a house. The aim is to determine the killer, the murder weapon and it what room the murder was committed.

In the game you can be one of the following characters; Miss Scarlett, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Reverend Green, Mrs. Peacock and Professor Plum. The weapons of choice are; a Dagger, a Candlestick, a Revolver, a Rope, a Lead Pipe or a Spanner. The murder has been committed in one of the following rooms; Kitchen, Ballroom, Lounge, Cellar, Billard Room, Dining Room, Study, Conservatory or the Hall.

The appropriate details are placed in an envolope in the middle of the board. Using all your detection skills you must ask the other players a number of questions, before you arrive at the correct conclusion.

I must say that I never really enjoyed this game. Detection work isn't really my thing. I found that the male members of my family enjoyed this game a lot more and found the game more compelling.

I particularly wouldn't recommend this game to children. I can't see why they'd enjoy this at all. One advantage to this game is that it doesn't take too long. A game can easily be finished in under an hour.

I am not a fan of Cluedo, so I only award it one out of five Dooyoo stars

Summary: Not one for the family to play
