You may have seen these coin pusher devices at fun fairs & amusment arcades, where you insert coins into the machine in the hope that these will push out a large number of coins out of the machine. Now is your chance to bring this experience into your very own home.
This coin pusher has a number of plastic coins supplied with it, the instructions state you can also use real coins if you wish. Whilst playing music plays & special sounds effects play along with flashing lights when coins drop out of the bottom. You have a choice of three slots in which to put your coins into, in order to nudge the coins already in the machine in order to get them to drop out of the bottom.
The kids will love this game & it will keep them occupied for hours. However I don't think the product is build very well, it just doesn't feel very solid. Also there are issues with coins getting stuck in the machine, you then need to take the device apart slightyl to get these coins out again.
This isn't a bad buy to keep the kids occupied, but it's not something I'd probably pay more than £10 for.
Push them pennies !!
Fantastic little toy I got for the Boy this christmas, Cost me £10 from a 'local' shop. Basically it's a miniature version of the big Coin Pusher machines you find in arcades.
Is easy to search for on-line and available from a few sites - Argos also has one in too.
Same idea as the big machines, you have 3 slots at the top of your little machine -drop in your coins and watch them drop onto the moving tray and push the coins already inside. The objective ? "Try and win as many coins before the time and music stop" Has an on/off switch to the side and a button on top you press to start game, it then starts up and plays it's 'Coin-Pusher arcade-style' music.
Its a great toy - Has LED lights that flash, it makes a cheering noise when coins fall out the bottom and you win. It EVEN has a nudge alarm that freezes it - No Cheating !! - naughty boy trying to cheat and knock some pennies out got a shock the first time he did it proper beeping alarm noise - fun feature !
A bag full of plastic coins were included but I got this as says works with real money, which it does - 1p 5p 20p -anything bigger won't fit. Boy already had a collection of 'coppers' so filling up wasn't a problem, except you can't 'open it up' and put the coins in. The only way to get coins in is the 3 slots, and the only way out through the 'winning hole'. We have had a few get stuck, but maybe because put a few too many in...Easy enough to solve though, just switch it off and give it a good shake.
The music does get a bit bugging to be honest but I can deal with it because it's a toy that requires Boy to sit still and play with...He's still not bored of it yet also the batteries are lasting well considering amount of play it's had already.
Not for children under 3 years (small parts - plastic/real coins) No assembly required - But needs 3x 1.5V "C" size big batteries so you'll need little screwdriver for battery compartment.
Stuck for a fun gift ? - Get one of these !

Can also find me on Ciao under same name, reviews normally found there too but with photos.
Insert your coins and watch the bright LED lights. Music sounds if money drops into the retrieval area. Coins and batteries not included.
