This is an incredibly simple game which children as young as 4 can understand. I have had this game for as long as I can remember and used to really enjoy playing it. I think it was one of my favourite games because it didn't take too long to play. 10 mins max.

Set up is very easy. The blue grid has two legs which are easy to slip into the slots to make it stand up. Once you have done this decide who is to have which colour and take all your coloured pieces.

Connect 4 is a two player game only. Each player chooses a colour (red or yellow) Then each player take it in turns to drop a coloured disc into the blue grid. The object of the game is to connect four of your coloured discs, before your partner, in a row. This can be vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

This is a great game for children. It is also educational as well as fun. Children will learn to share and think logically. I would definately recommend this game in any form, either the usual board game version or the larger garden version.
