Advantages: Fun. Logical, Makes You Think, Enjoyable, Get Better At It, Quality, Simple
Disadvantages: Too Simple
I bought this game a while back in a toys shop and it is really fun and enjoyable to play on a rainy day. You do get better at it over time so your win/lose ratio will start to increase. This version is great as it has a few more options available too.
The idea of the game is to connect 4 discs in a row, which are either red or yellow depending on your side. You alternatively take turns to place a disc in the top of the plastic container, and it drops down to the lowest point. You can get 4 in a row diagonally, vertically or horizontally. It's a great game as it gets you thinking ahead as to where your opponent may go next.
Not only can you pop discs in the top but you can pop them out with this version too. This gives you the choice to do 2 more games. One is where you can put discs in as well as pop them out. The other is where you start with a full rack of discs and pop them out to get 4 in a row. I prefer to play it the normal way though as it's fun and you get good at it.
You can buy this for £7.95 on amazon.co.uk and you will also see it available in offline toy shops such as Toys R Us. It's a great game for both kids and adults as it's fun and gets you thinking. It's very simple too as there aren't many rules to learn.
The actual game is of good quality, made of plastic but it won't break. It's very easy to set up and you can release all the discs at the end of a game by sliding the tray to one side. It's a fun and simple game that will last a lifetime so I would recommend having it in a cupboard for a rainy or boring day!
Thanks for reading,
