This one the game of my childhood! My brother and I would spend hours and hours trying to beat each other in a 'battle of the coins' but woe betide the winner who would need to take refuge in the nearest piece of furniture as quickly as possible whilst the loser hurtled red and yellow coins at them to vent their anger! The game consists ... Read the complete review

Connect four is such a simple game but there is something so compelling and interesting about it. I used to play this all the time with my older brother and when he got to a point where he was more interested in going out with his friends, my little brother became my partner. All of the memories of winning and losing this great game came back to ... Read the complete review

This is a very simple game to learn the rules for and a simple one to play as well. It is a two player game and is suitable for anyone age six and over in my opinion. The game itself is easy to assemble, the main body of the game is a plastic square frame with 36 slots in it that make up seven columns and six rows, at the top there is ... Read the complete review

Every Christmas is an intense battle of wits between two family members. The sweats break out on the forehead but that could be from the dinner and the booze. Every move is deliberated, no one wants to give an inch but someone will break. That one move could finish it and you’ve never seen it coming. No it’s not chess, it’s the timeless ... It was Charlottes birthday last month and it's a tradition in our house to buy a family game at every birthday and Christmas but the game makers just can't keep up with us! So browsing the Argos catalogue I was chuffed when Connect 4 caught my eye. I used to love playing my dad at this (and usually losing! lol) when I was small and thought ... Read the complete review

I bought Connect Four, for my Step-daughter a couple of years ago, and it cost me 4.99 from Woolworths. However, I have seen this game quite recently priced at 2.99 in Wilkinsons, which is a real bargain for so much fun. My Step-daughter aged 10 absolutely loves this game and so does my Boyfriend aged 39, so it is definitly suitable for ... Read the complete review

I`m sure that everyone knows how connect four works, but just incase I`ll describe it quickly. In connect four the idea is for you to connect four counters in a line to win the game. You drop your counters down slots in the board so that they go as low as they can. You have to block off your opponents lines as best as you can while ... Read the complete review

After noughts and crosses I suppose that someone had to come up with the idea of Connect Four and a good idea it is too. In both cases you have to line up the required number of symbols either, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. In noughts and crosses it is three symbols and the game is played on paper whilst in Connect Four it is four ... Read the complete review
