Cranium is a board game for all the family.

It's meant to be played in teams of 2 or more players and there are 4 playing pieces, so you can have up to 4 teams. The object of the game is to work your way round the board and into the central area. On your turn, you have to complete an activity, based on the colour of the square you're on, and your team-mates have to guess correctly the answer on the card. There are 4 different colours / categories as follows:

Word Worm - this includes puzzles such as spelling words and spelling words backwards, and solving cryptic clues

Data Head - this includes some true/false questions and some questions about the meanings of words

Creative Cat - this includes some drawing challenges, some of which have to be done with your eyes closed, and also crafting an item with the Cranium Clay, which is like a lump of play-dough

Star Performer - this includes acting out clues like charades, acting like a famous person and humming / whistling a tune for your team mates to guess

This board game is different to the norm as it involves a lot more activity and some of it is really funny, especially impressions of famous people! Some of the things to make with the Cranium Clay are really hard - I've even seen 'beans on toast'! Considering you only get 1 minute, individual beans are difficult!

It's great fun for all the family.
