Advantages: improves mathamatical and hand to eye coordination skills

Disadvantages: very dull and a poor excuse to drink copiusly

i have never understood the appeal of this game at all.
i was forced by my boss to join our pub darts team to make up the numbers required to join the local league.
i enjoyed going to different pubs, meeting different people and the free sandwiches of course, but i cannot say the same for the game itself.
i can see how the game helps improve mathematical skills and hand to eye co-ordination.
the idea that ones whole evening revolves around standing 6 feet away from a board on the wall and chucking miniature arrows at it in rotation sounds like a totally dull and uninteresting evening.
dont get me wrong, if you like darts who am i to disagree, i just cant see it myself.

by the way i did win my games and 2 or 3 occasions out of about 40 lol.
