Advantages: A bit of a laugh

I've just been reading all these other opinions on how Fruit machines are a waste of money and that they're so addictive and they get in the way..........so do quiz machines but people play those.

I think fruit machines are okay. Yes they're there to make money, most things nowadays are used to make money, but they're also used for entertainment.

When you're out and you put £2 in a fruit machine and walk away with £10 it's made you happy. You've had a laugh, had some fun and made money. Okay you could quite easily lose money, put only as much as you put in. People can be addicted to all kinds of things. If you ban fruit machines in pubs, does that mean you're going to ban smoking and alcohol as well?
