Its odd how addictive a fruit machine can be, for me its not just the flashing lights or the lure of the money, nope
Im just sad, I LOVE the design of them, but thats another story.

Actually I have played fruit machines for many years, and usually broke even/slight loss.

But thats just me, or is it just me not admitting to myself exactly how much money those machines took from me?

One thing I can answer, and to some people this is about as significant as Is Elvis still alive? Do UFO's exist?
Well - here it comes...

Fruit machines sometimes are rigged.
(cant speak for all of them)

After all, a fruit machine is only a computer (usually nothing more complex than a home games console, if that!)
linked to some stepper motors, lights and solenoids.

More importantly they are programmed BY HUMANS, theres NOTHING really random about them,. they follow rules.
Skill is another aspect, you dont need skill, people may say you do, but thats all down to the programmers etc who design that "need" into the game, they are playing on the fact kids and young adults like to show off.

By all means have fun, but remember, in general, you will lose out.

AND DONT LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO TRY TO SELL YOU THE SOLUTIONS TO WINNING - Even if the solution IS correct (it may be)
IT WILL NOT LAST, THEY WILL ALTER THE MACHINE OR CHANGE IT...

(ps Fruit machines will never (in general) make you rich, unless you MAKE or Design them.)

I guess this also why they call these machines 'bandits' from the old machines that were lever operated and funnily called 'one-armed bandits' with the emphasis on 'bandit' of course :)

A dangerously addictive and expensive game me thinks!

Most people seem to know this but, the lure of flashing lights and *MONEY* make it irresitable. This is much the same as Dooyoo, althought their are no flashing lights on Dooyoo.
