I quite enjoy putting a couple of pounds in a fruit machine, it's not an addictive past time, but it's just a little gamble where you might or might not win.
Yes some people play them to excess and it can be annoying when your partner says they're off to the loo and three quarters of an hour later you go looking for them and they're on the fruit machine.
I prefer the reel machines to the pub quiz ones but wish the prices would stay down, I think at 30p a game now it's getting a bit excessive.
