Advantages: fun?
Disadvantages: never win anything real/not random
The amount of money people waste on fruit machines is quite a lot. You have a couple of drinks and the change from a five pound note goes on the machine, it only takes a few minutes for the money to run out. And another five pound note to be changed. You can hear some change falling out, oh hooray he’s won something. It seems a lot but it’s a handful of 2p pieces, not the amount he’s spend. He comes back has a couple of drinks, and on the way to the gents has another go. No more luck so he shrugs his head and carries on going. That’s my husband and the Fruit machines. He loves them but never wins, and I am not surprised, it’s a con after a few drinks, the bright lights on the machine to make you think you will win, but very few who do and if you do realise how it’s always pennies. Notice it’s always the men, on the Fruit machines with the odd exception of course, they have to beat the machine and need their partners to call them back. The amount of money people must make out of Fruit machines, I sent my husband to the local chippy and he spent quite a lot of time. So, I presumed it was because the chips weren’t done. However, when I went to down, I noticed a Fruit machine right bang in the middle, and surprise, surprise while you were waiting which was longer than usual you would feel tempted to play the Fruit machines. I do myself like the 2p machines in theme parks where the pennies look like dropping out but guess what never do. The amount of 2p’s you can spend, it’s can add up. The Fruit machines are addictive, I certainly think my husband likes them but I don’t think he’s an addict, they’re like playing computer games but you have to pay and your game is very short. I am sure Fruit machines are fixed, because I have never heard of anyone winning the jackpot, light change yes but the big one…..No. Does
anyone really think if you won you would get all your money they’re and then.. Like one million in change dropping out. I would like mine in cheque form so it’s easier to take to the bank (lol)
