Advantages: funny good game appeals to all ages
Disadvantages: those american cheesy grins
Do you remember playing the Game of Life way back in your not so distant youth? Well now there is a fab Hasbro PC version with added laughter value and gaming capabilities. We love it and so do the kids. It is viewed in a God like 3D world of the old style board with moving animated cars and little people with peculiar personalities complete with little bodies, big heads and very cheesy american grins. It has a two game play mode, as well as having network and internet on-line capabilities, which are traditional and enhanced. The traditional version is exactly like the board version. The enhanced mode (our favourite) gives you little games to win extra money on bonus squares and shows an animated montage as you progress through life eg. Graduating from University, getting married, buying a house and getting your 3 set of twins! Each process gives you hilarous cartoon per square you land on. Even after a while these snippets are still funny. All those people who haven't played the game of life. It's based on the scenario where you compete against other people in a race to progress through life's pitfulls and good times in an effort to retire to either a country cottage or millionaire's mansion with the most amount of fun. It's similar to that of monopoly but in a more linear form with greater things to do and avoid. It was a great board game but even better PC game! It will appeal to all ages and good for getting your mates around for a few laughs and some beers! It cost £10 and its a bargain!
