Advantages: Easy to setup and play
Disadvantages: Games do not last very long
Guess Who is one of those board games that every one plays when they are young, and this is one of the problems with the game, in that it is aimed at the children.
The game involves two people taking it in turns to decide who the other player have as their card and the identity that that they hold. The way that the game is played is by each player having a tray of faces, with each player have an equal number of faces on each board.
There is also a third pile of faces that are not attached to the board, from which the two player select the face that they are to play as, although the face is randomly picked from the deck of card faces. One this is done the card is places at the front of the tray and the game begins.
Each player takes it in turn to ask the other player a question, but only a question that can be answered in the form of yes or no; as the player is no allowed to give away details of the person that they are meant to be.
One of the problems with this game is it is aimed at children and that is all the game is good for. As I use to play the game when I was younger and as I grew up the game became more and more boring. The reason for this is a single game can be over very quickly, as the questions that can be asked can eliminate a large number of faces, such as is the person a man? Or, is the person wearing glasses? What this does is end the game very quickly. Although there are times, when playing the game you annoying put the face down by mistake and only have one face up and it is not the right person.
The final question is whether I would recommend this game to a person. The answer I find myself given is yes if you are buying the game for a child. As it is only interesting if the person that is going to play the game is a child, because if an adult plays the game, they will easily get the hang of the game and how to win; and would appear very basic. Therefore I would recommend the game, as it will easily entertain a child to keep them busy.
Summary: Ok if being bought for a child
