Advantages: Great game, minimal set up time, easy to play, lots of fun for all ages.

Disadvantages: None

Guess who? is a guessing game from Hasbro that is designed for two players and has been around since the 1970's.

There are two boards (one for each player) which have identially placed cards containing the same cartoon characters which each have different first names & have distinguishable features such as moustaches, glasses, dark hair, bald heads etc and the object of the game is to to take it in turns with your opponent to ask each other questions such as 'do they have glasses' and then depending on the questions asked and depending on your opponents yes or no answer you should be able to eliminate some of the 24 cartoon faces and eventually you will hopefully be left with the person who your opponent has picked and you will then ask 'Is it John?' and hopefully you will be the winner all the while trying to beat your opponent!

The set up time of this game is just a few seconds as you need to remove the boards from the box and flip up all of your cartoon character cards and then choose the character you want and then the game can begin!

This game is fun for all ages but if playing with younger children then I would advise that you give the little ones a fair bit of time to make sure that they have knocked down each of the players with the glasses or whatever as I've found the younger ones in the family are likely to get a little confused and then they end up with one person but it's the wrong one and this usually brings about some frustration!

The game is fairly quick & very easy to play and usually is over within just a few minutes which is great if you don't have much time but still want to have some fun and keep the little ones entertained.

The minimum age of this game is suggested as 6 years but I would say younger is fine as long as they know what kind of questions to ask and fully understand the aim of the game & how to play.

I find this game to be fun and because it is so quick I don't find myself getting bored as I can do with other games and I'm usually good at guessing which people friends or relatives have picked as I tend to find they go for people that look either like them or similar to people we know whereas I try someone who looks like no-one I've ever met before!

The game packs away easily after use and the boards just fit back in the box with no problem.

All in all I would say that this is a great game for most ages, it's fast, simple, easy to pack away and available for around £10.00 from most good toy stores.

I am rating Guess Who? 5/5 as it's great.

Summary: A fantastic game for all ages.

A bit like the old TV show "What's My Line." Me thinks you may be too young to know that one. Where a celebrity panel tried to guess the occupation of a contestant by asking questions, but the answers given had to be either 'Yes' or 'No'
