Advantages: Easy and fun- but you can make it harder

Disadvantages: A bit basic for some

Guess Who is one of those games I loved playing as a child and still enjoy the occasional game now, when I can find someone to play it with me. I was disappointed with the updated version with new faces that look familar, but not quite the same!

The game is cleverly designed with most features being shared by the same number of people, for example five have blue eyes, five have a hat, five are women etc. The games doesn't have a great deal of skill but we did become imaginative about the quesions we asked, for example, 'Do they have facial hair' covers those with both moustaches and beards. 'Can you see hair on the top of their head' covers those with a hat and bald people.

An advanced version is to play with two cards each and you have to guess both of your opponents people. This means it is much harder to eliminate people as you have to establish that neither have a characteristic before you can eliminate it. This gives you much more to think about once you have mastered the basic game.

Summary: If you like it- try the harder version.
