Advantages: Keeps kids quiet for a while

Disadvantages: Can get boring after a few hundred times, no believe me kids it does

Guess who is a very simplistic game which my kids seem to love. The game comes boxed in a standard game sized box. The contents are two playing boards coloured red and blue, a stack of cards with different faces and names on. The same cards but a smaller version which clip into a white surround and are attached to the red and blue bases. The white plastic housing clips in so that it is free to toggle from lying flat to standing up.

Aim of the game:
The game is for two players. Each player secretly chooses a card and stands it at the front of their playing board. The overall aim is to guess which person your opposing player has selected in the fore mentioned process. All of the cards clipped onto the board begin in the standing position. The players then take it in turns to ask a question about the faces on the cards, each time they make a match, the opposing has to answer HONESTLY the question (My son sometimes has a problem with this part of the game lol) . The player asking the question then flips down the people who match the criteria of the question. This process is repeated until you are left with one face standing, this should match the face which your opponent chose in which case you are the winner.

Verdict:
The game contents are good quality, however initial setup is fiddly as you need to clip cards into the white plastic stands and then clip these onto the board. Another gripe about this is, if you accidentally knock the game board whilst playing, sometimes the cards can flip down and it becomes a nightmare trying to establish which ones should be up. The game is currently selling in Argos for approximately £12.79 which seems a little expensive for what you actually get. However, this is a very addictive game, problem is the kids' staying power is far greater than mine as I soon become a little bored. It does get a little tedious asking does he wear glasses?, is it a she?, does it have black hair? etc... There are only so many times you can ask these questions before you question your own sanity. In saying that, the kids love this game and it does keep them occupied for a good while. Only problem is my son tends to mishear you or miss the odd person so you end up with people still standing near the end who SHOULDN'T be. The game encourages and teaches kids to tackle questions in a logical and methodical manor, but somehow I don't think my lad will make a decent policeman.

Summary: Good family game, good for starting arguments that is
