Gooey Louie was a game that I played many times as a young child and I loved the 'gross factor' of the game and this is what attracted me to ask for it for Christmas one year. Gooey Louise comes packaged in a cardboard box and you receive the gooey louie itself, the brain and the boogies. It takes just a few seconds to set up the game and this is great for younger children as they don't get impatient waiting around. The aim of the game itself is to pull out the sticky boogies but to try not to pull out the one that is boobie trapped as this will make a hinge open up the top of Louie's head and then his brain (made of plastic) will fly out and then ... Gooey Louie is a fun, novelty game, aimed at the younger market, who like all things gross. The object of the game it to pull plastic bogies from Gooey Louie?s nose. It is one of those games where the loser goes out first, the loser being the unfortunate person who gets the booby bogey, which, when pulled, shoots Louie's brain from the top of his head. We had seen Gooey Louie advertised on the television and it looked like great fun. It was the type of toy that appealed to the children as it revolved around bogies, which all children seem to find endlessly amusing for some bizarre reason.
