Advantages: Fun game, easy to set up, cheap on Ebay.

Disadvantages: Not widely available, no learning to be done with this game, can get boring.

Gooey Louie was a game that I played many times as a young child and I loved the 'gross factor' of the game and this is what attracted me to ask for it for Christmas one year.

Gooey Louise comes packaged in a cardboard box and you receive the gooey louie itself, the brain and the boogies. It takes just a few seconds to set up the game and this is great for younger children as they don't get impatient waiting around.

The aim of the game itself is to pull out the sticky boogies but to try not to pull out the one that is boobie trapped as this will make a hinge open up the top of Louie's head and then his brain (made of plastic) will fly out and then that player is the loser.

I think the gameplay is very simple and it's really easy for little ones to pick up how to play this game. It's quite entertaining to little ones as well because they love the gross factor to this game and waving the boogies around (at least the little ones I know do!).

I've had this game since I was a small child and my game has now been passed on to my nieces & nephews. It's not widely on sale anymore but it is possible to pick it up for around £6.00 from Ebay and there seems to be quite a few people selling this game.

I would definitely recommend this game for little ones as while there is no learning to be done with this game it's still great fun and it's nice to hear my nieces & nephew laughing infectiously because they're having so much fun. I am rating this game 3/5 as it's fun but it can get boring after just a couple of games and it's not something that is played all that often.

Summary: An average game that gives the little ones lots of laughs.
