Advantages: Fun to play

Disadvantages: Limited appeal, good for maybe three games at a time unless you are drinking

Jenga is a really fun game for anything from two to six players anymore than that and it is too long between goes to be fun.

The game is very easy to play it comes with about fifty five wooden blocks that are stacked in rows of three in a stack with each set of three sitting across the other three so that they form a bridge if the middle one is removed (see the picture above). Once the stack has been completed then each player takes it in turns to remove a wooden block from anywhere other than the top row. Once you have removed it you then have to place it back on the top as well so the stack gets higher and more unstable.

The objective of the game is to not make the stack fall and you can only use one hand to remove a wooden block so it is a real test of nerve and a steady hand.

It is amazing sometimes just how many blocks you can remove and the game is simple but very engrossing as well and naturally it lends itself to drinking games as well.

You get a couple of spare pieces in each pack and a plastic two sided frame with a base to help stack the blocs and then this slides out from beneath them so it is easy to set up and the pieces are solid wood so hard to damage.

Summary: Fun test of nerve.
