Advantages: Easy to play

Disadvantages: Packing it away

Jenga is a game that is made up of lots of rectangular shaped wooden blocks. To start the game you need to build it into a tower by placing the blocks in a three by three pattern. Once the tower is built each player takes it in turns to draw a block from the tower without making the whole thing topple over. The only rule is that you can't take blocks from the top layer because that would be far too easy!

Jenga is one of those games that all of the family can play. If you have a gathering at Christmas then your little three year old niece Ella can have a go but 105 year old great, great granny will also be in with a chance of winning. It doesn't matter how old you are anyone can pull a block from a tower even if the whole thing does end up tumbling to the ground!

This game is great even if you haven't been drinking! The thing I find is that I normally have a dead straight hand but as soon as the word 'Jenga' is mentioned, I become like an old lady and just can't seem to control my 'shakes'.

I love the fact that your heart beats so loudly during this game and it gets your adrenalin going. As you tap or pull a block out of the tower, I find that I am 'edge' and if you pull the wrong one then the tower leans so far to one side that you wonder if it will fall. If it doesn't then you barely want to move just incase a breeze knocks it over!

The most annoying thing about this game is how long it takes to pack it away. You can do it one by one but the blocks at the bottom of the box tend to sit sideways but if you try to build the tower and then slide it into the box, you end up with them sliding from your grasp and you have to start again!

This is a great game for everyone to participate in and is well worth buying because you can get it for around £5.

Summary: Fun!
