Advantages: easy to play

Disadvantages: if tube gets bent

Kerplunk is a great game which has been around for decades. The aim of the game is to be the player with the least marbles at the end.

This game is less than £10 to buy which is great. Set up is pretty straight forward but for children under around 7 they will need some help putting the tube together. You take out the base then slot the two tube pieces together, this can be quite fiddly especially if they have bent a little.
Once you have done this you need to put in the sticks through the holes. Once all sticks are in you put the marbles in the top. You are now ready to play.

Kerplunk comes with a dice which has colours on - this determines which colour stick you pull out. You take it in turns to throw the dice and pull out a stick of that colour, keeping any marbles which fall. The winner is the person at the end with the least amount of marbles.

This is a dead easy game and a good way of teaching young children how to share and take turns. You can play with 2 - 4 players which is also good.

I like this game and would definetely buy it for my children when I have them!

Summary: great game

I first played this game when I was 33, and enjoyed it immensely!

Good start here, but I wonder if you could give us more of your opinion of this game and a bit less about the rules. For instance, tell us what about it you like the most and least, who you like to play this with, what mood you like to be in when you play it, if you have any special rules of your own to make it more interesting. This would make this review more useful for me. All the best.
